CONCENTRATION
Contains not less than the equivalent of 29.0% MgO and not less than the equivalent of 65.0% SiO2
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Bulk Density: 0.20 to 0.25 gm/cc
CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
Identification : Gives characteristic of Silicate and Magnesium Salt
Soluble Salts : Max. 1.5%
Alkalinity : Not more than 1.0 ml of 0.1M HCl VS is required.
Arsenic : Max. 4 ppm
Heavy metals : Max. 40 ppm
Chloride : Max. 500 ppm
Sulphate : Max. 0.5%
Acid Absorption : More than 100 ml of 0.1M HCl Acid VS per gm.
Loss on ignition : Between 17 to 34% of its weights when ignited at
900° C.
